Earlier this year The National Ringette School entered into a sponsorship agreement with Ringette Canada to bring live web coverage of the Tim Hortons Canadian Ringette Championships to fans across the nation and around the world.

“We’re excited to support this event,” remarked National Ringette School director Murray Pettem. “We want our students to learn to be the best players they can be and this is an excellent opportunity for them to see our nation’s best compete.”

Coverage will include:

Three Bronze Medal Games – April 1, 2011
U16 and U19 Skills Competition – April 2, 2011
and three Gold Medal Games – April 2, 2011

Brynn and Gordon Tarnowsky, from Calgary, Alberta.

Brynn and Gordon attended the 2010 World Ringette Championships in Tampere Finland. They cheered on Team Canada as they took home the silver medal.

Ringette Canada’s new Partnership

NRS-Crest-SmallCongratulations to Ringette Canada and Nami for their exciting new partnership! In Jan 2010 the following was announced on the Ringette Canada site:
“Ringette Canada announced a three-year partnership agreement with NAMI, a leading manufacturer of innovative ringette products. The partnership, worth approximately $100,000, designates NAMI as an official partner of Ringette Canada as well as the official equipment supplier of Canada’s junior and senior national teams. For the next three years, NAMI will also be involved in the Canadian ringette championships, the National Ringette League and Ringette Canada’s Come Try Ringette initiative”.
